Running for Sense

I started working with Sense UK  last year, when I spoke to their corporate fund raising team to organise a charity Golf Day on behalf of one our SME clients. During a friendly conversation about general fund raising, I was asked ‘Do you run?’. The answer was ‘Yes, sort of, I started running in March 2014 and completed the Reigate Half marathon that year, but haven’t really done much since.’. This started a conversation about Team Sense and the London Marathon 2016. When I heard the team were a little short of runners, I couldn’t think of a good enough reason to say ‘No’.  All I could think of were excuses. And there were lots.
